Homa’s ascent: At this time last year, Homa, the 2013 NCAA individual champion at Cal, was ranked outside the world’s top 300 players and had about 22,000 followers on Twitter. Now, after pocketing his first PGA Tour victory last May in Charlotte, Homa is ranked No. 95 and many more people see his social-media wit and humor. Homa now has nearly 120,000 Twitter followers.
