DeBrusk’s 2 goals help Bruins rally

Boston’s Jake DeBrusk scored twice in the third period to help the Bruins rally past the Carolina Hurricanes 43 in Toronto to take a 31 lead in the NHL’s bestofseve­n Eastern Conference playoff series.

Brad Marchand and Connor Clifton also scored in the third, helping Boston erase a 20 deficit entering the period. It was a stunning turnaround — the Bruins had a 162 edge in shots on goal in those final 20 minutes — that has Boston within a win of advancing in a series that looked headed for a 22 tie.
