If you’re already wondering how you’ll adapt your winter holiday celebrations this year, one tradition — American Conservatory Theater’s “A Christmas Carol” — is way ahead of you.

Tickets are now on sale for the show, available for streaming Dec. 431 as the radio play “A Christmas Carol: On Air,” directed and adapted for the radio by Peter J. Kuo using Paul Walsh and Carey Perloff’s original adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novella.

Along with the recording itself, which is expected to feature longtime “Carol” favorites James Carpenter and Sharon Lockwood, the company is offering a slew of pandemicera addons to give a sense of occasion to audiences’ athome listening. There are two listening parties, one scheduled for opening night at 6 p. m. Dec. 4, and a second at 6 p. m. Dec. 23. Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream, a longtime purveyor of theaterthemed specialedition flavors, plans to serve the “Carol” inspired flavor “Victoria Sponge” — combining creme fraiche, sponge cake and raspberry jam swirl — throughout December.

The “Fred’s Party” ticket package, accommodating families of up to four at $ 40, includes a downloadable activity book with coloring, scavenger hunts, word games, mazes and other activities to do while you’re listening.

“The Cratchit Family” ticket package, at $ 60 and also accommodating a household of four, includes a physical copy of the book mailed to your home.
