Seattle’s injuries could be an issue in game vs. 49ers
The Seahawks are unsure how many healthy running backs they’ll have for Sunday’s game in Seattle against the 49ers, with three of the four ballcarriers on the team’s active roster listed on the final injury report Friday.
Seattle listed Chris Carson ( foot) and Travis Homer ( knee) as questionable, while Carlos Hyde ( hamstring) was listed as doubtful. Carson and Hyde did not practice during the week and Homer was a limited participant Friday.
Seattle coach Pete Carroll said all three would be gametime decisions Sunday, with rookie DeeJay Dallas the only sure option going into the game.
“We’re going all the way to game time on all three guys and just see what happens then,” Carroll said. “We did not practice them this week and that was just to give them every single day to have a chance to get back. So we’ll see them on the field on Sunday.”
All three running backs were injured in last Sunday’s overtime loss to Arizona.
Coronavirus news: The Raiders activated right tackle Trent Brown from the COVID19 list. He missed last Sunday’s loss to the Buccaneers because of a positive coronavirus test.
Brown’s status for Sunday’s game in Cleveland is unknown.
“We’ll find out,” Raiders head coach Jon Gruden said. “We still have a couple more days to get him acclimated to our game plan. He’s been out for a while as you know, so it’s good to see him back out here, but I won’t make any more statements than that.”
The Broncos postponed practice after learning that starting right guard Graham Glasgow tested positive for the coronavirus. Glasgow was at home in selfisolation Friday, as were two players who had been in close contact with him.
The NFL said Denver’s home game against the Chargers on Sunday isn’t in jeopardy.
Vikings linebacker Todd Davis tested positive for the coronavirus and was placed on the COVID19 list, but the team is proceeding as scheduled for Sunday’s game at Green Bay.
