ExGiant Rodriguez signs with Rockies

Righthander Dereck Rodriguez has signed a minorleague contract with the Colorado Rockies with an invitation to spring training.

Rodriguez, 28, the son of Hall of Fame catcher Ivan Rodriguez, appeared in 51 games over three seasons with the Giants.
