HOROSCOPE

- By Christopher Renstrom

ARIES ( March 19- April 18): It’s hard to switch game plans in mid execution, but terms that were relevant weeks ago no longer apply.

TAURUS ( April 19- May 19): There’s no question that finances are on the mend. The only uncertainty is: when? Given that, don’t push the river.

GEMINI ( May 20- June 19): Being forced into a competitive position doesn’t mean you have to play along. Indeed you’ll win by never joining the contest to begin with.

CANCER ( June 20- July 21): Defense mechanisms serve a purpose, but they may be holding you back. That’s because they’re based on habitual reactions, not informed ones.

LEO ( July 22- Aug. 21): You won’t get what you want by acting like a brat. It only lowers your status. Cultivate a cool demeanor and people will look up to you, not down.

VIRGO ( Aug. 22- Sept. 21): Rivalries have been on the increase lately, which means you must be doing something right. But don’t flaunt it. Continue to be self- effacing.

LIBRA ( Sept. 22- Oct. 21): Office gossip runs rampant. Though concerns are legitimate, certain details have been exaggerated for dramatic effect. Be skeptical.

SCORPIO ( Oct. 22- Nov. 20): After champing at the bit for weeks, you finally get free rein. You may feel less than enthusiastic, but don’t worry. It’s only a temporary case of stage fright.

SAGITTARIUS ( Nov. 21- Dec. 20): Just because someone can use your words against you doesn’t make this person smart. Resist the urge to explain yourself and you remove the ammunition.

CAPRICORN ( Dec. 21- Jan. 19): The Moon in Sagittarius makes you balk at being reined in, but is this really so bad? You could use some direction about now. AQUARIUS ( Jan. 20- Feb. 17): Today you walk a psychic tightrope. You have to be the voice of reason while allowing others to vent. It’s exhausting, but worth it.

PISCES ( Feb. 18- March 18): Is a certain someone really in a position to open doors or is this person just leading you on? Don’t waste time speculating. Ask.
