UCLA women throttle Oregon

Michaela Onyenwere scored 17 points, Lauren Miller added 16 and eighthrank­ed UCLA completed a season sweep of No. 13 Oregon for the first time in five years with an 8356 victory in Los Angeles on Friday.

The Bruins (133, 113 Pac12) are not known for their 3point shooting, but made 10 of 22 from beyond the arc, which is their secondhigh­est total of the season. Onyenwere had three 3pointers along with six rebounds and four assists.

UCLA also dominated on the boards with a 4724 rebounding advantage. Lindsey Corsaro had seven boards as the Bruins had five players with five or more rebounds.

Oregon (126, 96 Pac12) has dropped three straight for the first time since the 201617 season.

Nyara Sabally led the Ducks with 12 points and TeHina Paopao added 11.

Washington 78, Utah 61:

Campolindo-Moraga alum Haley Van Dyke, a junior forward, scored a career-high 22 points as the host Huskies (6-11, 3-11 Pac-12) defeated the Utes (5-14, 4-14). Brynna Maxwell had 16 points for Utah.

Oregon State 77, USC 52: Talia Von Oelhoffen scored 19 points and Aleah Goodman added 17 as the Beavers (7-6, 5-6 Pac-12) won in Los Angeles. Alissa Pili had 13 points to lead the Trojans (10-9, 8-8).

Colorado 60, Washington State 57:

Mya Hollingshe­ad had 28 points and 12 rebounds as the Buffaloes (9-9, 7-8 Pac-12) edged the host Cougars (9-10, 7-10). Charlisse Leger-Walker had 21 points and 13 rebounds for Washington State.

MEN

UNLV 76, San Jose State 60: Bryce Hamilton scored 18 points to lead the Rebels (9-11, 6-7 Mountain West) past the host Spartans (5-14, 3-12). Ralph Agee scored 18 points for San Jose State, which played at the Event Center for the first time this season.
