Goodman, Jones lead OSU by UCLA

Aleah Goodman scored 20 points and Taylor Jones had 16 points and 11 rebounds as visiting Oregon State beat eighthrank­ed UCLA 7164.

The score was tied at 57 with 5:57 remaining but the Beavers (86, 66 Pac12) outscored the Bruins 147 the rest of the way. Talia von Oelhoffen’s jumper from beyond the arc put Oregon State on top for good.

Michaela Onyenwere scored 21 points for UCLA (134, 114).

Oregon State trailed 1813 at the end of the first quarter, but took control in the second, outscoring the Bruins by 10 to grab a 3631 advantage at halftime. The Beavers started the second quarter with an 112 run and led by eight at various points in the period.

“Oregon State is an NCAA Tournament­level team,” UCLA coach Cori Close said. “I am disappoint­ed we couldn’t focus on the things under our control. We were not nearly as focused and tough as we have been.”

#13 Oregon 72, USC 48: Sydney Parrish scored 17 points to help the visiting Ducks (13-7, 10-6 Pac-12) end a three-game losing streak. Alissa Pili scored 14 points for the Trojans (1010, 8-9).

Washington State 68, Utah 55: Charlisse Leger-Walker scored 22 points to lead the host Cougars (1010, 8-10 Pac-12) past the Utes (5-15, 4-15). Peyton McFarland scored 14 points for Utah.

Colorado 55, Washington 50: Frida Formann scored 17 points for the visiting Buffaloes (10-9, 8-8 Pac-12) against the Huskies (6-12, 3-12). Haley Van Dyke had 16 points for Washington.

#2 South Carolina 76. #17 Kentucky 55: Zia Cooke scored 21 points as the host Gamecocks (18-3, 13-1 SEC) defeated the Wildcats (15-6, 8-5). Rhyne Howard scored 12 points for Kentucky.

Florida State 68, #3 Louisville 59: Morgan Jones had 26 points and 10 rebounds and the host Seminoles (9-6, 8-6 ACC) beat the Cardinals (20-2, 13-2). Dana Evans had 13 points for Louisville.

#4 North Carolina State 82, North Carolina 63: Jakia Brown-Turner scored 25 points for the host Wolfpack (15-2, 10-2 ACC) against the Tar Heels (11-9, 6-9).

#5 Texas A&M 66, Mississipp­i 55: Kayla Wells scored 18 points to lead the visiting Aggies (20-1, 11-1 SEC) past the Rebels (9-9, 3-11).

#7 Baylor 77, Oklahoma 66: Former Stanford guard Dijonai Carrington scored 19 points as the Bears (17-2, 12-1 Big 12) beat the host Sooners (8-10, 5-8).
