Harden helps Nets slip past Clippers

Brooklyn’s James Harden scored 37 points and the Nets held off a fourthquar­ter rally by the Clippers in Los Angeles on Sunday for a 112108 win, their sixth in a row.

The Nets wrapped up a 50 trip, beating the Warriors, Sacramento, Phoenix and both Los Angeles teams to complete their longest undefeated trip in franchise history.

“The destinatio­n is making it to that main stage and earning our way there,” said Nets guard Kyrie Irving.

Paul George scored 34 points and Kawhi Leonard had 29 for the Clippers.

Knicks 103, Timberwolv­es 99: Julius Randle had 25 points and 14 rebounds, and New York recovered at home after blowing a 21point lead to pull out a victory over Minnesota, which fired head coach Ryan Saunders afterward.

Saunders was 4394 in parts of three seasons with Minnesota, including 724 this season.

The Timberwolv­es will replace Saunders with Toronto assistant Chris Finch, the Minneapoli­s Star Tribune reported.

Pelicans 120, Celtics 115: Brandon Ingram hit a goahead 3pointer with 33.3 seconds left in overtime and New Orleans won at home after rallying from 24 points down in the third quarter. Ingram finished with 33 points.

Zion Williamson scored 24 of his 28 points after halftime and had 10 rebounds, four assists and a block for the Pelicans, and Josh Hart added 17.

Bucks 128, Kings 115: Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 38 points and Khris Middleton scored 32 to lead Milwaukee at home past Sacramento.

The Bucks won their second straight after ending a fivegame losing streak by beating Oklahoma City on Friday.

Hawks 123, Nuggets 115: Trae Young had 35 points and 15 assists, Clint Capela added 22 points and 10 rebounds and Atlanta won at home.

Raptors 110, 76ers 103: In Tampa, Fla., Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet each had 23 points as Toronto won its fourth straight.

Chris Boucher scored 11 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter for Toronto.

Thunder 117, Cavaliers 101:

Shai GilgeousAl­exander had 31 points as Oklahoma City handed host Cleveland its 10th consecutiv­e loss.

Magic 105, Pistons 96: Nikola Vucevic had 37 points and 11 rebounds, Evan Fournier added 29 points and Orlando prevailed on its home court.
