Pearl Tonelli passed away at her home on June 20, 2021. Pearl was born in Montreal, Canada, on May 10, 1938 to Lisa and Nathan Goldenberg. Pearl and her sister, Rosie were born the second set of twins behind Annie and Simon, followed by her youngest sister, Rita.

Pearl moved to San Francisco with her sister Rita to join her twin sister Rosie, who had moved to San Francisco a year earlier. Pearl later moved to Pacifica in 1964 and then finally settled in San Mateo, where she proudly worked as a medical assistant at Bay Area Pediatrics, until her retirement.

Pearl was a beloved wife, mother, grandmothe­r, daughter, sister, cousin and aunt. She will be forever missed by her entire family and many best friends. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends as well as her endless spirit of generosity. She was best known for lighting up the room wherever she went.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 28 years, Randy Tonelli, Pearl is survived by her daughters, Marla Singer (Stuart) and Tiffany Sims and her grandchild­ren, Lindsey Singer, Damion Sims, Jr., Damari’a Sims, Domani Sims and Divinity Sims. She is also survived by her devoted and loving sister, Rita DeLue (Robert) and sister-in-laws, Christine Mandoli (Mark) and Nancy Caramella (Richard).

Donations in her honor can be made to the American Lung Associatio­n and Stanford Children’s Hospital.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Skylawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, San Mateo, CA with entombment to follow.
