Molly Eileen Meyer of Burlingame passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the age of 45. Molly was a beloved elementary school teacher who touched the lives of innumerabl­e children in the Bay Area, as well as many people of various communitie­s, from her beloved Russian River and beyond. Always immensely generous, loving, and gregarious, she made a point to help anyone in whatever way she could. Anyone who knew Molly knows that family and friends meant everything to her. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She truly is that pebble thrown into a quiet river, and the lives she touched are those ripples that extend far beyond us today.

Molly is survived by her loving father William Meyer; dear sisters Michelle Meyer and Maria Davies (Andrew); brothers in law, Cory Covington and Rob Davies; cherished nieces and nephews, Alyse and Kira Covington, Robby and Mia Davies; uncle James Mullane, aunt Elaine Mullane, uncle Spencer Meyer (Linda), uncle Theodore Meyer (Karen); and cousins, Mike (Julie) Mullane, Maureen (Don) Johansen; Justin (Michelle) Meyer; Kara Meyer (Casey), and many other cousins and all of their children.

Molly was preceded in death by her beloved mother and her true inspiratio­n Mary (Mullane) Meyer; grandparen­ts Dolores and Jack Mullane, and Margaret and Tom Meyer; and uncle Michael Mullane.

A Funeral Mass will be held in her parish, Our Lady of Angels in Burlingame and she will be laid to rest at Holy Cross in Colma.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to The Giants Community Fund in Molly’s name. The organizati­on epitomizes Molly’s passions for youth and baseball to promote health, education, and character developmen­t to propel youth in underserve­d regions.
