Robert “Bob” Oosterman

Resident of Millbrae since 1957, entered into rest on February 6, 2022. Beloved husband of Ginger Oosterman for 67 years. Loving father of Sharon Cardani (Gary deceased), Denise Hewitt (David) and Bob Oosterman, Jr. (Sharon). Devoted son of the late Bernard and Clemence Oosterman. Dear brother of Rita Oosterman and the late Ben Oosterman. Also survived by his cherished grandchild­ren Chelsea Iannone (Drew), Domenic Cardani (Chrissy), Anthony Cardani (Claire), Kailey DeMeo (Jackson), Daniel Oosterman (fiancé Deirdre), Kelly Oosterman and treasured great grandchild­ren Adam, Abigail and a great granddaugh­ter due in February.

He was a second generation native San Franciscan born in the Bay View District, a graduate of St. Joan of Arc, Sacred Heart HS and USF with a BS degree in business in 1954. He was a veteran of the US Army following the Korean Conflict and an accountant for several Bay Area firms for 41 years, a volunteer with the USO for 11 years and active in various organizati­ons at

St. Dunstan’s Church and school. A sports fan of all Bay Area teams and a 49er faithful with season tickets for 57 years.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday February 11, 2022 at 11 am at St. Dunstan Catholic Church in Millbrae. Committal will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma.
