Robert Plant and Alison Krauss plan to bring their Raise the Roof tour to Northern California as part of the all-star lineup slated for the Oxbow RiverStage summer concert series in downtown Napa.

As part of its first full season, the outdoor venue is expected to host singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile on June 19; Norah Jones and Regina Spektor on June 25; Norwegian new-wave greats A-ha on July 29; New Orleans jazz hero Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue on Aug. 12; jam band Widespread Panic on Aug. 26-28; Texan crooner Leon Bridges on Sept. 4; and icons Bonnie Raitt and Mavis Staples on Sept. 17.

Plant and Krauss are scheduled to perform with special guest JD McPherson on Aug. 23, after playing at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley on Aug. 21.

Oxbow RiverStage also has a free concert for the Fourth of July on its calendar as part of its revised agreement with the city of Napa. The details for that show will be announced at a later date.

The 5,000-capacity venue, which opened in 2019, has seen its schedule restricted in the past due to the COVID-19 pandemic but hopes to make it through a full run of 13 concerts this year. Another round of shows is expected to be added for the fall, according to co-promoters Blue Note Entertainment Group and Another Planet Entertainment.

The Napa City Council last year asked event organizers to move the stage closer to the Napa River in the Oxbow Commons and reorient it to face downtown Napa for the 2022 concert series, following complaints from residents who live in the Alta Heights neighborhood near the venue. The concerts have also been given a 10 p.m. curfew.
