Back at full strength, Nets defeat Wizards

Kevin Durant scored 30 points, Kyrie Irving had 24 and the Brooklyn Nets pulled away for a 112-100 win against the host Washington Wizards on Monday night.

The Nets, who won at Indiana on Saturday night with their top seven scorers sitting out, won their fourth straight game. All those players were back in action Monday except Royce O'Neal, who missed a second game for personal reasons.

Will Barton scored a season-high 22 points for the Wizards, who lost their season-worst seventh game in a row. Washington was missing leading scorer Bradley Beal for the fourth straight game because of a right hamstring strain.

Kristaps Porzingis had 20 points in 24 minutes for the Wizards, but departed with 3:37 left in the third quarter and didn't return. Heat 87, Pacers 82: Bam Adebayo had 22 points and 17 rebounds and Jimmy Butler scored seven straight points late in the fourth quarter to help visiting Miami hold off Indiana. Buddy Hield led the Pacers with 19 points.

Grizzlies 128, Hawks 103: Tyus Jones had 22 points and 11 assists, Dillon Brooks added 18 points and host Memphis beat Atlanta in a game in which both teams were without their leading scorers. Grizzlies guard Ja Morant sat out with right thigh soreness, while Atlanta's Trae Young had lower back tightness after playing 42 minutes Sunday.

Briefly: Boston forward Grant Williams was fined $20,000 for punching the ball into the stands during the Celtics' loss to the Warriors on Saturday at Chase Center, the NBA said . ... Detroit guard Cade Cunningham will have season-ending surgery to repair his left shin, a source said. The top pick in the 2021 draft is expected to be ready for the start of the next training camp.
