Tatum leads Celts in romp over Nets

Jayson Tatum scored 31 points and had nine rebounds and the Celtics rolled to a 139-96 win over the shorthande­d Nets in Boston on Wednesday night.

Jaylen Brown added 26 points as each of Boston’s stars knocked down seven 3-pointers in a game in which the Celtics didn’t trail and led by as many as 49 points.

Robert Williams finished with 16 points and nine rebounds in his return from a sprained ankle. Derrick White added 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Kyrie Irving scored 20 points and Cam Thomas added 19 for Brooklyn, which shot 41%. The Nets dropped to 4-7 since Kevin Durant sprained his right knee on Jan. 8.

Blazers 122, Grizzlies 112:

Damian Lillard had 42 points and 10 assists, Anfernee Simons added 26 points and visiting Portland rallied to beat Memphis. Portland outscored Memphis 38-22 in the fourth quarter to win for the fourth time in five games. Ja Morant had 32 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds for Memphis.

76ers 105, Magic 94: Joel Embiid had 28 points and 11 rebounds, James Harden added 26 points and 10 assists and visiting Philadelph­ia beat Orlando. Markelle Fultz led the Magic with 18 points.

Kings 119, Spurs 109: Domantas Sabonis scored a season-high 34 points and had 11 rebounds as visiting Sacramento dealt San Antonio its seventh straight loss. De’Aaron Fox added 31 points. The Spurs were led by a season-high 22 points from rookie Malaki Branham.

Rockets 112, Thunder 106: Rookie Tari Eason had 20 points and 13 rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench as host Houston rallied to beat Oklahoma City. Eric Gordon scored 25 points for the Rockets. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 24 points.

Wizards at Pistons, postponed: The game in Detroit was postponed because the Pistons were stranded in Dallas amid a winter storm.
