S. Carolina women get by UConn

Aliyah Boston scored 23 of her 26 points in the second half, including 14 in the fourth quarter, to help No. 1 South Carolina beat fifth-ranked UConn 81-77 in Hartford, Conn., on Sunday.

The Gamecocks (23-0) have won 29 consecutiv­e games since losing to Kentucky in the SEC tournament title game last year.

Boston finished with 11 rebounds for the 76th doubledoub­le of her career.

Aaliyah Edwards led UConn (21-3) with 25 points.

#3 LSU 72, Texas A&M 66: Angel Reese had 26 points and 22 rebounds and Alexis Morris added 22 points before fouling out late as the visiting Tigers (23-0, 11-0 SEC) topped the Aggies (6-15, 1-10).

#4 Indiana 69, Purdue 46: Sydney Parrish and Mackenzie Holmes each scored 15 points as the visiting Hoosiers (22-1, 12-1 Big Ten) beat the Boilermake­rs (15-7, 6-6) for their 10th consecutiv­e win.

#6 Iowa 95, Penn State 51:

Caitlin Clark had 23 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds to lead the Hawkeyes (19-4, 11-1 Big Ten) past the host Nittany Lions (1311, 4-9).

#7 Utah 100, Oregon 92: Alissa Pili scored 30 points as the Utes (20-2, 10-2) beat the host Ducks (14-9, 5-7) to tie Stanford for the conference lead.

#8 Maryland 90, #10 Ohio State 54: Diamond Miller scored 16 of her 29 points in the third quarter and the host Terrapins (19-5, 10-3 Big Ten) beat the Buckeyes (20-4, 9-4).

#16 Duke 57, #9 Notre Dame 52: Celeste Taylor scored 14 points as the visiting Blue Devils (20-3, 10-2 ACC) defeated the Irish (18-4, 9-3).

Louisville 62, #11 North Carolina 55: Chrislyn Carr scored 11 of her 17 points in the third quarter to help the host Cardinals (17-8, 8-4) top the Tar Heels (17-6, 8-4), who had won eight in a row.

#14 UCLA 82, Arizona State 63:

Charisma Osborne had 23 points and Londynn Jones added 20 off the bench to help the host Bruins (18-6, 7-5 Pac-12) beat the Sun Devils (7-14, 0-12) to end a three-game losing streak. Arizona State has lost 12 straight.

#18 Michigan 77, Michigan State 67: Leigha Brown scored 19 of her 29 points in the second half and the visiting Wolverines (19-5, 9-4 Big Ten) topped the Spartans (11-12, 3-9).

#22 Arizona 81, USC 75: Cate Reese, who scored 33 points, hit four free throws in the last 7.5 seconds of the second overtime to help the visiting Wildcats (18-5, 8-4 Pac-12) top the Trojans (17-6, 7-5).

Men

#3 Houston 81, Temple 65: Jarace Walker’s 23 points helped the visiting Cougars (22-2, 10-1 American Athletic) beat the Owls (14-10, 8-3).
