Eldon Deon Robinson passed away on December 25th, 2022, while in his home in Redwood City, California with his devoted wife Barbara by his side. Eldon was born in Northern Missouri on the 3rd of April 1935 to his parents Opal Pearl Hardin and John Everett Robinson. He was 87 when he left this earth for a better world.

Eldon lived in northern Missouri, around Kirksville, during his younger years. A year after Eldon was born, a new baby brother named Gary Lynn arrived. The family relocated to Klamath County, Oregon near the town of East Malin in the early 1940s. Eldon helped his father, along with his younger brother, doing farming and ranching chores. The family relocated again in the early 1950s back to the area around Kirksville for another go at farming there. Eldon graduated from Green City high school in 1953 and being young and adventurous, a year or so later, he moved to the big city of Kansas City, Missouri. While in Kansas City, Eldon met Yvonne Baird and they were married in the fall of 1956. In June of 1957, their first son, Terrell (Terry) was born. The following year and looking for a new start, the young family moved to southern Idaho around the small town of Kimberly. A second son, Randall (Randy) was soon born in the small hospital in Jerome, Idaho in August of 1958. Then in Twin Falls, October of 1959, another addition to family came as Michael (Mike). In the fall of 1963, the now family of 5 relocated back to Kansas City, Missouri to be near Yvonne’s parents. Eldon started working for 7-11 and managed several stores.

In the spring of 1970, Eldon left Missouri to work in California during a labor strike. Never to return to Missouri, Eldon settled in the Bay Area and while going to a local community college, he met the love of his life, Barbara Machauer. Eldon and Barbara were married on January 31, 1973, and lived a happy life living in Redwood City, California. Eldon had a long career in construction and retired from the Carpenters Union.

Eldon was preceded in death by both of his parents, John Everett Robinson (February 4, 1992) and his mother Opal Pearl Hardin (January 11, 1994), his brother Gary Lynn Robinson (December 21, 2007) and granddaughter Becky Robinson.

He is survived by his wife Barbara L. Robinson, his three sons Terry Robinson (Joyce), Randy Robinson, and Mike Robinson. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
