- Ky Jerry ucbonald Bay Area News Group

The A’s cleared up any confusion as to their status on the local radio airwaves Friday with the announcement of an agreement with Bloomberg 960 AM.

All 162 games will be broadcast on 960 AM, in contrast to last season when the the club attempted to go strictly with a streaming station at the outset. Fan reaction was negative, and Bloomberg 960 AM stepped in and ended up doing 54 games of a 60-game season.

In addition to 960 AM, A’s games can be found on 103.7 FM

(KOSF-HDT) as well as 1140 AM (KHTK Sacramento) as well as 12 other affiliates in Northern California.

A’s Cast on iHeartRadio will remain the official home of the club’s radio content and can be found at athletics.com/AsCast

The A’s play-by-play announcers will remain Ken Korach, entering his 26th year with the team and 16th as the lead announcer, and Vince Cotroneo, in his 16th season with the club. Ray Fosse will make occasional appearances throughout the season on radio broadcasts.

Spanish language broadcasts for 60 games can be found on 1010 AM (KIQI) and 990 AM (K ATD).

Spring games

A’S 5, PADRES 4 >> The A’s got themselves a comeback win on Buddy Reed’s goahead single in the seventh inning in their first nineinning game of spring.

Running up a 3-2 count against Sergio Romo in the first inning, Fernando Tatís launched a rocket deep to left field. It was the 23-year-old’s first at bat back from the flu. It was the third run Romo has allowed in two innings this spring.

That Tatís home run was the only run Romo would allow in his inning. He allowed two hits and a strikeout.

GIANTS 9, ROCKIES 8 >> The Giants have hidden Kevin Gausman from Cactus League action thus far this spring, but he finally debuted Friday against the Colorado Rockies at Scottsdale Stadium. He only needed 18 pitches to navigate two scoreless innings and was able to pitch around a second-inning double from Rockies first baseman Josh Fuentes to keep Colorado off the board.

Nearly three weeks after pitchers and catchers first reported to spring training, Brandon Belt took batting practice on the main field for the first time.
