Santa Cruz County Parks offers community garden plots for rent at various parks in the county. Garden plots are located at Jose Avenue Park, Felt Street Park, Chanticleer Ave Park, and The Farm Park in Soquel.

Garden plot contracts are annual and carry a fee and availability varies per park. Visit scparks.com, click on “parks”, then “garden plots” or call 831-4547901 for general information.

WATSONVILLE Birdsong Orchards offers early discount on u-pick roses

Visit birdsongorchards. com to learn about spring in the orchards and see wonderful photographs of flowers and fruit found at the orchard. The U-Pick rose garden will open in April and the orchard is offering a limited number of discounts for reservations. Last year the slots were sold out.
