LASTING IMAGES ON THE EDGE IN ZAMBIA

Susan Blakely of Santa Fe visited Victoria Falls in Zambia, where, with her sister and nephew, she waded in ‘Devil’s Pool’ at the very edge of the falls. Blakely says that at certain times of the year, you can swim in the pool, but ‘the current was pressing us toward the edge, and there were fish biting our feet!’
