NMDOT Announces Upcoming I-25 Lane Closures To Begin July 24 – August 1
SANTA FE – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) continues construction on the I-25/NM14 (Cerrillos Road) Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) located south of Santa Fe. Motorists can expect various lane closures and delays on I-25 from mile marker 276.00 to mile marker 278.00.
ON SUNDAY JULY 24 – 28, starting at 7:00 a.m. the I-25 northbound lanes will be reduced to one lane. The I-25 northbound off ramp (Exit 278) to NM 14 (Cerrillos Road) will be CLOSED. Traffic will be detoured to Exit 276 (NM 599) Interchange to access NM14. Exit 278 will be REOPENED on Tuesday, July 26 at 6:00 a.m.
ON FRIDAY JULY 29 – AUGUST 1, starting at 9:00 p.m. the I-25 southbound lanes will be reduced to one lane.
The I-25 on ramp from southbound NM 14 (Cerrillos Road) will be CLOSED. Traffic will be detoured to the West Frontage Road (Beckner Road) to access I-25 southbound.
ON SATURDAY JULY 30 – 31, starting at 9:00 p.m. the NM 14 (Cerrillos Road) will be CLOSED from Beckner Road to Rancho Viejo. NM 14 (Cerrillos Road) traffic will be detoured to I-25 West Frontage Road then to NM 599 to NM 14 (Cerrillos Road). The I-25 northbound off ramp (Exit 278) to NM 14 (Cerrillos Road) will be CLOSED. Traffic will be detoured to Exit 276 (NM 599) Interchange to access NM 14 (Cerrillos Road). Exit 278 will be REOPENED on Sunday, July 31 at 6:00 a.m.
SPANISH MARKET WEEKEND (JULY 30-31) traffic traveling on I25 northbound will be detoured to the US 84/285 St. Francis Interchange (Exit 282) to northbound St Francis Drive into Santa Fe.
