7 p.m. on The CW Penn & Teller: Fool Us

So, we’ll take a wild shot here: The title of the new episode “Penn & Teller Have a Blast” would seem to indicate that something — or several things — explosive happen during the course of the hour. Robert Ramirez, Dominik, Joel Ward and Mahdi Gilbert are the illusionists who try to put one over on the title stars. Alyson Hannigan, who knew magic as Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Willow, is the host.

7 p.m. on A&E Duck Dynasty

In the new episode “There Will Be Flood,” the sons and wives work tirelessly to protect Phil and Kay’s home from potential floodwaters when a large storm rolls into Monroe. Meanwhile, a leaking warehouse roof threatens much of the inventory at Duck Commander. Another new episode immediately follows.

7 p.m. on USA Suits

While Jessica and Harvey (Gina Torres, Gabriel Macht) try to land a needed “whale” for the law firm, Mike (Patrick J. Adams) continues to keep his nose down at Danbury Federal Prison and tries not to violate any of the facility’s unwritten rules in the new episode “Back on the Map.”

8 p.m. on FOX Wayward Pines

What happens to the human race ultimately rests on Theo’s (Jason Patric) shoulders as this eerie, M. Night Shyamalan-produced drama ends its second season with “Bedtime Story.” The Abbies make their big move on Wayward Pines, evidently leaving others — including Theo — with no option but the most drastic one. Djimon Hounsou, Nimrat Kaur, Josh Helman, pictured, and Kacey Rohl also star.

9 p.m. on NBC The Night Shift

“Unexpected” is an appropriate title for this new episode, in which the medics must deal with the aftermath of an explosion right outside the hospital. The situation is especially tense for TC (Eoin Macken), who not only is among those who stay while others evacuate, but who may be acquainted with the person who caused the blast. As if things couldn’t get worse, nurses go on strike right in the midst of the mayhem.
