1 7 p.m. on FOX Lethal Weapon Hilarie Burton continues her guest role as DEA operative Karen Palmer in the new episode “A Problem Like Maria” — with the Maria in question played by a fellow One

Tree Hill alum, guest star Daniella Alonso. The story involves the investigat­ion of a cartel, as well as Riggs’ (Clayne Crawford) deepening feelings for Palmer.

2 7 p.m. on CBS Survivor Familiar faces from past editions of the competitio­n return as the show’s 34th round, subtitled “Game Changers,” opens with a two-hour premiere — also the 500th episode of the series. Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands provide the setting as host and executive producer Jeff Probst welcomes back experience­d players including Sandra Diaz-Twine (who won both Seasons 7 and 20) and Caleb Reynolds, pictured, who was medically evacuated during the “Brain vs. Brawn vs. Beauty” Season 32.

3 7:30 p.m. on ABC Speechless Though Dylan (Kyla Kenedy) doesn’t want a birthday party, Maya (Minnie Driver) goes ahead and plans one for her anyway in this new episode. Soon, it becomes apparent why the celebratio­n wasn’t wanted. JJ (Micah Fowler) wants to go to the mall on his own to buy Dylan a gift, alarming Ray (Mason Cook), who’s been delegated to watch out for him.

4 8 p.m. on HIST SIX This military drama, which got some unexpected and tragic contempora­ry relevance recently as a result of an ill-fated real-life mission involving the team in Yemen, wraps up its first season with the suspensefu­l new episode “End Game,” in which the team members finally have a faceto-face confrontat­ion with Michael (Dominic Adams) and his jihadist soldiers.

5 9 p.m. on ABC Designated Survivor After a hiatus of several months, the drama series resumes its freshman season with the new episode “Warriors,” detailing what happened after someone fired shots toward President Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) and a crowd at the U.S. Capitol. A wounded Hannah (Maggie Q) debates what to do with her knowledge about the bombing at the Capitol.
