7 p.m. on FOX Shots Fired A North Carolina town is rocked by shootings that may have been racially motivated in this new, clearly timely limited-run drama series from filmmaking spouses Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Rock Bythewood. Sanaa Lathan and Stephan James play investigat­ors for the Department of Justice who come to suspect the state’s governor (Helen Hunt) isn’t telling all she knows. Richard Dreyfuss, Stephen Moyer and Tristan Wilds also are in the ensemble cast. 7 p.m. on NBC Blindspot With some invaluable help from Nas (Archie Punjabi), Jane and Weller (Jaimie Alexander, Sullivan Stapleton) finally come face to face with the inside source Nas had within Sandstorm. They also have a dramatic confrontat­ion with an old foe in the new episode “Evil Did I Dwell, Lewd Did I Live.” 7 p.m. on DSC The Last Alaskans A new generation steps into this time-tested but demanding way of life as Season 3 of this compelling reality series opens. Tyler and Ashley, a pair of eager young trappers expecting their first child, and Charlie Jagow embark on this challengin­g new lifestyle, as veteran wilderness resident Bob Harte leaves Alaska after 40 years in the bush. Another longtimer, Heimo Korth, similarly plans to pass his torch to daughter Krin. 8 p.m. on FOX Empire Lucious (Terrence Howard) puts everyone on notice as he announces his new music project called Inferno as this series returns for its spring premiere with “Sound & Fury.” That power play only makes Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) double down on her determinat­ion to knock her ex off his throne for good. Elsewhere, while in rehab, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) becomes friends with musician and fellow patient Tory Ash (guest star Rumer Willis), and Andre (Trai Byers) continues with his own plan to take over Empire. 8 p.m. on CW The 100 Events take a turn for the worse soon after Clarke (Eliza Taylor) arrives on the island in the new episode “Gimme Shelter.” Meanwhile, Bellamy (Bob Morley) does what he can to avoid any further tragedy in Arkadia. Paige Turco, Devon Bostick, Chrisopher Larkin, Richard Harmon, Zach McGowan and Henry Alan Cusick also star.
