A story published on Page A-6 of the Tuesday, March 28, 2017, edition of The New Mexican, about a weekend stabbing death, incorrectly identified the victim as Daniel Mitchell. The victim’s name is Mitchell Daniel. The error occurred because Daniel was misidentified in court documents filed by Santa Fe police.

The New Mexican will correct factual errors in its news stories. Errors should be brought to the attention of the city editor at 986-3035.
