6 p.m. on TLC Say Yes to the Prom

1 This 90-minute special, which has become an annual TLC spring tradition, is an offshoot of an initiative in which the network partners with Macy’s department store to help make prom dreams come true for nearly 1,000 deserving and academical­ly successful students across the country. The TV program follows five students from the 2017 Los Angeles event, where students received one-on-one style sessions with TLC guru Monte Durham as well as empowering advice via mentoring sessions.

7 p.m. on HALL Movie: Love at First Bark

2 Portland interior designer Julia Galvins (Jana Kramer, pictured) faces an unconventi­onal challenge when a pregnant client — who also has a dog with a litter on the way — hires Julia to design a nursery and a “puppery” for her. In the course of the assignment, Julia turns to canine expert and trainer Owen Michaels (Kevin McGarry) for advice and, in the way of all such romantic comedies, the two of them soon feel a connection. Sarah Edmondson and Reese Alexander star in this 2017 romance.

3 A mission to stop illegal sales of armorpierc­ing bullets puts Officer Brandt (Taylor Handley) at risk, as he goes undercover to find the source, in “Signal Loss.” When he ends up in peril, a very special jacket may be the only means of finding and rescuing him. Gideon (Justin Kirk) is in the crosshairs of a task force.

8 p.m. on ABC

4 The Catch The tone is lighter — more in line with romantic comedies about thieves such as, well, “To Catch a Thief” — in the second season of this series from executive producer Shonda Rhimes’ stable. In “The New Deal,” private detective Alice (Mireille Enos) remains determined to get the goods on her con-man ex-beau Benjamin (Peter Krause).

9 p.m. on HBO Movie: Absolutely Fabulous:

5 Yearsthis 2016in the femaleThe writing, Movie buddy comedy reunites Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley in their longrunnin­g TV roles as pretentiou­s PR flack Edina Monsoon and her perpetuall­y drunken best friend Patsy Stone. The pair are now in their 60s, but their propensity for outlandish hijinks hasn’t diminished.
