The police drama inspired by the same-named Denzel Washington movie moves to Saturdays with the new episode “Quid Pro Quo,” as Kyle (Justin Cornwell) becomes caught up in Frank’s (the late Bill Paxton) scheme to get the goods on a deeply corrupt lawyer. The attorney has been assisting in the permanent removal of witnesses against his clients.

2 7 p.m. on AMC The Son

Pierce Brosnan, pictured, heads the cast of this series adaptation of a novel by Philipp Meyer, also an executive producer on this project, a sprawling multi-generation­al saga about a Texas clan. In the two-hour premiere, Eli McCullough (Jacob Lofland, later played by Brosnan) survives a Comanche attack in 1849, and in 1915, leads his family’s empire through difficult times.

3 7 p.m. on HALL Movie: Moonlight in Vermont

After a painful romantic mishap, work-driven real estate broker Fiona Rangely (Lacey Chabert) flees New York for a few quiet days at her family’s Vermont inn, where she hopes to sort things out. Unfortunat­ely, her ex (Jesse Moss) turns up at the place with a new girlfriend in tow, prompting Fiona to try to make him jealous by pretending the inn’s handsome head chef (Carlo Marks) is her beau. Jason Cermak also stars in this new 2017 romantic comedy.

4 7 p.m. on OWN Love Thy Neighbor

The sitcom wraps up another season of laughs with two new back-toback episodes, “The Cure for Sweat” and “Danny’s Absence.” First, Danny’s (Andre Hall) solution to a problem with perspirati­on erroneousl­y leads Troy (Leigh-Ann Rose) to suspect he is being unfaithful. The ensuing season finale finds Danny struggling with the issue of forgivenes­s.

5 7 p.m. on TLC Nate & Jeremiah By Design

Interior design experts and husbands Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent welcome viewers into their profession­al and personal lives, which currently involve juggling the usual complicati­ons of married life, plus raising their baby daughter, Poppy. Then there’s the part that finds them trying to rescue homeowners for whom a home renovation has turned into a nightmare. In tonight’s series premiere, the pair rescue a couple living in the midst of their own disastrous constructi­on zone.
