ANNOUNCEMENTS Basketball
The Pecos girls basketball program is holding a car wash fundraiser at Big Joe’s True Value hardware store on Siler Road in Santa Fe from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 3. Cost for the wash is $10, and the event will include food items for sale.
The University of New Mexico women’s program is holding a pair of individual camps this summer in The Pit and the Rudy Davalos Center. A day camp will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. on June 19-22 for kids 8-17. Cost is $175 per session, or $325 for both each day. An elite camp is set for June 22-23, with the June 22 camp from 6 to 9 p.m., and the June 23 camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $100. The University of New Mexico women’s program is holding a pair of team camps for high school and middle school teams in The Pit and the Rudy Davalos Center. The high school camp is for varsity and junior varsity teams on June 24-25. Cost is $500 for varsity teams, $400 for JV teams and $800 for both. A middle school camp will be on July 29-30 and is for teams from the fifth through the eighth grade. Coast is $300 per team.
