Accomplishments in sports
Girls cross-country finished fifth at state. Girls varsity basketball won its first district playoff game ever. Thirty athletes qualified for the state track and field championships. Cecilia Aguayo named honorable mention all-district soccer team. Lina Lozano named second team alldistrict soccer team. Grace Graham named first team alldistrict soccer team. Issiah Rivera state cross country qualifier. Veronica Zavala selected as All-Harrier at the State Cross Country Championships (one of seven fastest graduating seniors in the race is the criteria for the award). Sean Delica and his team won the district championship for 4x1 and are state champions. Angelika Lucero and Lina Lozano will be recognized as the school’s first fiveyear varsity letter winners with a $200
scholarship. Lucero for track and field and Lozano for soccer.
