1. 6 p.m. on CMT 2017 CMT Music Awards Charles Esten, pictured, who plays troubled country music star Deacon Claybourne on the CMT nighttime soap Nashville, plays host for the annual fan-voted music awards, which air live in many markets from Music City Center in Nashville, Tenn. Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett are among the artists scheduled to perform.

2. 7 p.m. on FOX MasterChef With nine aprons left unclaimed early in the latest competitio­n, the heat is on for those who haven’t yet made the Top 20 to qualify for one of those slots in the new episode “Battle for a White Apron, Part 2.” As always, the determinat­ion is left to judges Gordon Ramsay (also the show’s host) and Christina Tosi, who are joined this season by Aaron Sanchez.

3. 8 p.m. on NBC The Carmichael Show Veteran actress Marla Gibbs (The Jeffersons,

227) guest stars as the title character in the new episode “Grandma Francis” — Joe’s (David Alan Grier) mother, who gets a visit from Joe and his sons. The encounter takes on a much different tone when she makes a request that shakes their beliefs and emotions to the core. Jerrod Carmichael, Lil Rel Howery, Loretta Devine, Amber Stevens West and Tiffany Haddish also star.

4. 8:02 p.m. on LIFE Little Women: Atlanta: Monie Gets Married As the title of this latest new series in the hit

Little Women franchise suggests, its focus is on the upcoming nuptials of Monie and Mortin from Little

Women: Atlanta. She’s got big plans for a fantasy wedding, but a family conflict could mean that a major part of her dream — having her stepfather walk her down the aisle — may not be possible. Meanwhile, Morton has gone missing from his own bachelor party.

5. 11 p.m. on FX Fargo Nikki (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) is a tough lady who’s been around the block several times, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t find herself fighting to survive in the new episode “Who Rules the Land of Denial?” Elsewhere, Sy (Michael Stuhlbarg) joins Varga (David Thewlis) for tea, while something happens that leaves Emmit (Ewan McGregor) feeling spooked.
