On May 20, two area students graduated from the University of Vermont in Burlington. Shayna Moellenber­g of Santa Fe graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biological science and Isabella Olson of Santa Fe graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in history.

Santa Fe native Alexandra Martinez earned her place on the Colorado State University Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester. Martinez is majoring in communicat­ions with a minor in anthropolo­gy and now has an internship with Apple as an AppleCare adviser. The university is in Fort Collins, Colo.

Cynthia Jiron of Santa Fe has been named to the 2017 spring semester Dean’s List at William Woods University in Fulton, Mo.

The following area students who attend Eastern New Mexico University in Portales have been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester:

From Los Alamos: Trisha Barks, Jacqueline Fernandes, Ian Forsyth, Bradley Harlow and Kendall Schneider. From Pecos: Natalie Franco. From Santa Fe: Boris Costa-Guerra, Devin Devargas, Julie Doolittle, Miquaela Jaramillo, Clarissa Rael and Matthew Romero.

On May 21, Acadia Brooks of Santa Fe graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, receiving a Bachelor of Arts. Brooks, who majored in global studies, attended Santa Fe Preparator­y School and is the child of Bettina Lancaster of Santa Fe and James Brooks of Newport Beach, Calif.

National Merit Scholarshi­ps have been awarded to Nicolas D. Dowdy and Megan H. Kornreich of Los Alamos and Benjamin D. Voter of Santa Fe.
