RUDOLF “RUDY” GONZALES

Rudy Gonzales, age 70, of Santa Fe, passed away on July 6, 2017 in Santa Fe, New Mexico due to a short illness.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Gonzales, his mother, Deleria Gonzales, father-in-law, Ignacio Flores, and sister-in-law, Laura Flores.

He is survived by his wife, Lucia, sons: Troy (Steff), Rudy Jr. (Amy), Shaun (Hollie), Adam Sandoval (Jamie), daughters: Melissa Danieli (Nicolas), Ashley Martinez, sister, Janette Cuffe (Gary), brother, Joe Gonzales (Sondra), motherin-law, Delia Flores, brothers-in-law: Lawrence Flores (Shirley), Leonard Flores (Carmella), Louis Flores (Donna), grandchildren: Courtney, Tiffany, Anthony, Torrey, Zia, Bijou, Ayden, Koen, Jack Lathan, Stella, and Santana, close friends: Stanley Moya(Priscilla), Craig Lovato, Edwin Chavez (Maxine).

Rudy was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Marines, and was an administrator with the NM Department of Corrections.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Rivera Family Kiva Chapel, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, Wednesday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Santa Maria de la Paz Catholic Church.
