Letters: Letters to the editor are among the best-read features of The New Mexican.

We try to run them in their turn. Please limit your letters to 150 words.

My Views: We also are happy to consider publication of My Views, commentaries of up to 600 words, from writers who live within our reporting area. No, we cannot guarantee a publication date.

Please provide verification information for letters and My Views: full name, home address and telephone number. If you are submitting a My View, please include a sentence about yourself for the tagline. We also encourage writers to include a photo of themselves. We keep numbers and addresses confidential. All copy is subject to editing for length, grammar, spelling, language and obvious errors. We do not return edited copy for writer’s approval.
