There’s still room for some firsts on this show ... such as the visit from a llama that marks this episode. The animal is used in a demonstrat­ion by Chicago developers of a security app. Two California inventors pitch their bicycle braking system, while a trio from Seattle suggests a method to give business patrons free parking. Chris Sacca again joins Sharks including Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner and Barbara Corcoran.

7 p.m. on CBS MacGyver

The late John Heard (Home Alone) guest stars as MacGyver’s (Lucas Till) favorite science teacher, but their reunion is impacted by the kidnapping of the educator’s top current student (guest star Amiah Miller) in “Pliers.” Of course, that title indicates one of the tools the hero has at his disposal in attempting a rescue, along with speaker wire. Jeremy London also guest stars. George Eads, Justin Hires and Sandrine Holt also star. 7 p.m. on CW

Masters of Illusion

The title of the new episode “Spiked Table and Spiked Faces” suggests that the featured magicians will stay sharp. (Yes. We went there.) Farrell Dillion, Barry and Stuart, Jonathan Pendragon, Draven, Naathan Phan, Adam Wylie, Eric Jones, Jibrizy and Greg Gleason are the illusionis­ts introduced by host Dean Cain during the half-hour. 8 p.m. on TCM Movie: Top Hat

One of the screen’s great musicals in the eyes of many film buffs, this 1935 delight boasts the stunning combinatio­n of Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers and Irving Berlin’s tunes. Astaire plays a performer whose late-night dancing disturbs his downstairs hotel neighbor (Rogers). She’s ready to lace into him — until she mistakes him for the producer (Edward Everett Horton) who employs him. Songs include “Cheek to Cheek.”

12:30 a.m. on HBO Room 104

The priest (Orlando Jones, Sleepy Hollow) of a mysterious cult pays a visit to a woman (Sameerah Luqmaan-Harris, both pictured) who has been seeking a path to salvation, and he promises to help her transcend the ordinary world for another realm in the new episode “The Knockadoo.”
