Cecilia Gonzales Manning, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on August 30, 2017. Cecilia was born on November 18, 1931 in El Rancho, New Mexico. Her parents were Frederico and Emerencian­a Gonzales. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenyon Manning and five children: Danny Gonzales, Dorothy Garcia and her husband Tom, Diane Lacassagne and Manuel Anaya; Michelle Duran and her husband Paul; and Patsy Padilla and Eric Padilla. She is also survived by her ten grandchild­ren: Danielle Sinclair, Cr’de Lucero, Rachelle Forbes and husband Phillip, Vanessa Lindborg and husband Matt, Autumn and Brian Siler, Dominic and Evan Duran; Marlette Martinez and her husband Jeremy and Nicholas Quintana. Her great-grandchild­ren are Jessie, Madi and Hunter, Emma, Alexa and Savannah, Jonathon and Jacob. Cecilia leaves behind her sisters, Connie Jorgenson, Amelia Lopez, Louise Larribas and Mary Muller. Our mother was a hardworkin­g, loving, compassion­ate person. She raised us with a sense of self-worth, integrity and a value system based on her love for Jehovah God that continues to carry us through life. She worked many years providing for her family with love, courage, and determinat­ion. She married Kenyon on March 6, 1993 and they enjoyed many wonderful years together. As a family, we cared for her during her last years with pride and honor. The family welcomes you to join them at the Rivera Funeral Home located at 417 E. Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. for a eulogy and sharing by her family and friends. Cecilia was a loyal, faithful, and dedicated servant of Jehovah God for over 40 years.
