6 p.m. on TNT Movie: San Andreas

This hit 2015 disaster movie depicts the havoc that ensues following tremors along the title fault line in California. The special-effects wizards are as much stars of the film as Dwayne Johnson, playing a rescue helicopter pilot who saves his estranged wife (Carla Gugino), then heads off with her to rescue their daughter (Alexandra Daddario). The fine supporting cast includes Paul Giamatti, Archie Panjabi (The Good

Wife) and Ioan Gruffudd (Forever). MacGyver Murdoc (guest star David Dastmalchi­an) orchestrat­es a revenge plan meant to kill MacGyver (Lucas Till, pictured) and everyone else at the Phoenix Foundation in “Cigar Cutter.” The villain gets his former cellmate to target everyone at the organizati­on’s headquarte­rs. Mark A. Sheppard (Supernatur­al) guest stars. George Eads and Justin Hires also star.

7 p.m. on CW Masters of Illusion

The showcase for prestidigi­tators comes to the end of its fourth season with “Of Mice, Men and a Kidd” — in which one of the acts evidently does involve rodents. The “Kidd” in question is Billy Kidd, one of the featured magicians along with Michael Grandinett­i, Nathaan Phan, Chris Randall, Tommy Wind, Ed Alonzo and Jonathan Pendragon. Dean Cain is the host. An encore episode follows.

7 p.m. on TLC Kindred Spirits

A new episode called “The Executione­r” takes paranormal investigat­ors Amy Bruni and Adam Berry to the residence of a distressed homeowner. As the episode title hints, the home previously was owned by a profession­al executione­r, now deceased, who is said to have dispatched hundreds of criminals during his career. Maybe he wasn’t ready to retire, because now something or someone in the house seems to be trying to kill the new owner.

In a new episode called simply “Boris,” an aging Croatian tennis player (Konstantin Lavysh, The Americans) forms an unlikely bond with a housekeepe­r (Veronica Falcon,

Queen of the South) when he reveals memories of his tortured past to her. Biff Wiff (Grace and Frankie) co-stars.
