A definite Game of Thrones feel pervades “The Serfsons,” the animated comedy’s 29th-season premiere, and not just because that series’ Nikolaj CosterWaldau is a guest voice ... as “MargeLike Man.” The medieval story finds Lisa (voice of Yeardley Smith) a pawn of several people when Marge’s mother (both voiced by Julie Kavner) is transformed into an Ice Walker, resulting in a war in which Homer (voice of Dan Castellaneta) leads one side.
7 p.m. on ABC Shark Tank
Right after an Emmy win for the show, the Sharks return on a new night for their ninth season of assessing entrepreneurs’ innovations for products and services — and there are a lot of them in this two-hour episode. As usual, the panel of business experts can invest in the ideas. Entourage” Jeremy Piven also has shown his serious chops in “Mr. Selfridge.” He taps into the latter again for this adaptation of an Israeli drama about a tech wizard determined to solve his daughter’s murder by involving others via his revolutionary app. Richard T Jones (Judging Amy) co-stars as a police veteran helping with that and other cases; Monica Potter (Parenthood) also appears in the series “Pilot.”
7 p.m. on TNT The Last Ship
An undercover mission in the land of the dead sounds like the kind of undertaking that would be plenty creepy on its own terms, but in the new episode “Lazaretto,” the eerie assignment also leads to decidedly disturbing revelations about some of Dr. Vellek’s (Peter Weller) sinister plans. Eric Dane, Adam Baldwin, Charles Parnell and Travis Van Winkle also star.
7:30 p.m. on FOX Ghosted
An inescapable Ghostbusters vibe underscores this new comedy pairing very different paranormal sleuths — played by Craig Robinson (The Office) and Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation), above, also executive producers of the show — on otherworldly mysteries that plague Los Angeles. Beyond their case of the week, a larger threat could mean nothing less than the end of mankind. Ally Walker
