Mayor announces series of board appointments

Mayor Javier Gonzales made a series of appointments and reappointments Wednesday to a pair of advisory boards.

Two new members of the seven-member advisory Santa Fe Public Library Board are Marie Schow and Carlo M. Brady.

Five members of the city’s Veterans Advisory Board were reappointed to new two-year terms as well: Chris Abeyta, Phillip Hernandez, Sigrid Hannah Mabel, Greg Scargall and former City Councilor Chris Calvert, who chairs the panel, which reviews and proposes solutions to local veterans’ needs. Scargall is seeking an open City Council seat in the south-central District 4.
