Santa Fe Animal Shelter & Humane Society: Sweet Zola is a 2-year-old mixed-breed dog who has quickly become a staff favorite. She is a lovely girl who has the right energy for any family. Pumpkin, a sweet 10-year-old female calico, is calm but decidedly affectionate. She loves getting attention but is also happy to lounge on your lap for a quick nap. These and other animals are available for adoption from the shelter at 100 Caja del Rio Road. The shelter’s adoption hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Española Valley Humane Society: Sweet Norman is a wonderful dog who would thrive in a home with lots of love and fun. He’s being treated for heartworm, but is doing well. He’s 5 years old. Handsome Oogie Boogie is a great little pup. He’s 8 weeks old and has lots of energy. He loves his toys and going for walks.
