Discussion covers service animals

A free presentation on service animals is set for 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 19 in Santa Fe.

Sponsored by The Disability Coalition and Disability Rights New Mexico, the talk will be held in the community room of the Fort Marcy Recreation Complex, 490 Bishops Lodge Road. Refreshments will be provided.

The presentation will cover what constitutes a service animal, the rights and responsibilities as a service-animal handler, the rights and responsibilities as a business, and if there are different rules for government entities.
