Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 MINDFUL AWARENESS SERIES: From 10 a.m. until noon, and from 2 to 4 p.m. at Tsechen Namdrol Ling, 1341 Upper Canyon Road, Apt. 2, the Ven. The Partizani Brass Band will be live at the event. There will be a costume contest for children age 12 and under at 5:30 p.m. CLIMATE RIDE AND LUNCH: The Climate Change Leadership Institute presents the 2017 Climate Ride. The Climate Family Bike Ride meets at Fort Marcy Park at 11 a.m. The 10-mile Bike Ride will be police escorted for safety — helmets are required. The ride ends at the Tesuque Village Market, where there will be a fundraiser lunch at 1 p.m. JOURNEY SANTA FE: At 11 a.m., at Collected Works Bookstore, 202 Galisteo St., 505-988-4226, Denis Fort will discuss the Trump administration’s attack on the environment and what we can do about it with Journey hosts Alan Webber and Bill Dupuy. The event is free. DVD LECTURE SERIES: At 11 a.m. at Congregation Beit Tikva, 2230 Old Pecos Trail, the 92nd Street Y series begins with David Brooks and Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks discussing “Finding a Moral Compass in Changing Times.” Buffet brunch served at 10 a.m. ($5).
