6 p.m. on FOX 2017 World Series

Game 1 of the MLB World Series gets underway tonight and will take place at Dodger Stadium, after Los Angeles Dodgers claimed the best record in all of baseball. Houston, the American League leader in victories fresh off a Game 7 win in the AL Championsh­ip Series over the New York Yankees, will host Games 3, 4 and 5.

7 p.m. on ABC The Middle

With the witching season upon them, Frankie (Patricia Heaton, above) discovers that nearly 50 years ago, a woman died in a bathtub of the Heck residence in the new “Halloween VIII: Orson Murder Mystery.” That revelation soon leads to her and Brick’s (Atticus Shaffer) unshakable conviction that the lady was murdered and, much to Mike’s (Neil Flynn) dismay, they set out to find the killer. Sue (Eden Sher), meanwhile, plays “third wheel” as Axel and Lexie (Charlie McDermott, Daniela Bobadilla) seek some alone time.

8 p.m. on CBS Bull

Bull (Michael Weatherly) has reservatio­ns in more ways than one in the new episode “Play the Hand You’re Dealt,” as he’s drawn into a tribal court when his roommate from college becomes the prime suspect in a murder. Also, Bull has his first encounter with Marissa’s (Geneva Carr) new beau (guest star Gary Wilmes).

8 p.m. on The CW DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

Sara (Caity Lotz) gets an urgent call from the agent the Legends “befriended” at the Time Bureau, advising the team that they’ve been assigned to venture into the future to capture a rogue time traveler in the new episode “Zari.” Unfortunat­ely, the Legends succeed in making an unfortunat­e situation even worse when they try to protect an outlaw (guest star Talia Ashe), hoping to lure the time-traveling assassin out of hiding. Elsewhere, Nate (Nick Zano) discovers an unusual treatment for Amaya (Maisie Richardson­Sellers).

8 p.m. on TBS Snoop Dogg Presents The Joker’s Wild

Iconic rapper Snoop Dogg considered “The Joker’s Wild” his favorite game show when he was growing up, and now that he has the wherewitha­l to do so, he’s updating that classic. He’ll also host the show, set in Snoop’s very own casino, which will include a humongous slot machine, plus giant dice and playing cards. Contestant­s hoping to win in this new version will need street smarts and skills at problem solving, not just standard academic knowledge.
