6 p.m. on HALL 2017 American Humane Hero Dog Awards Abigail, a one-year-old pit mix from Lehigh Acres, Fla., will be honored as the year’s most courageous canine during this year’s edition of the annual special saluting dogs who have demonstrated courage, service and compassion. The honoree survived years of abuse, probably involving dog fighting, to emerge as an icon of forgiveness via the online “Bonnets for Abigail” social media campaign. James Denton (Good Witch) and animal advocate Beth Stern host the event from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. 7 p.m. on NBC The Blacklist Liz (Megan Boone) and the Task Force find themselves on a major collision course with a rival unit from the CIA after Red (James Spader, pictured) provides some exclusive intel on an international terrorist in the new episode “Ilyas Surkov.” Elsewhere, Tom (Ryan Eggold) goes undercover in pursuit of information, while Red and Hawkins (guest star Aida Turturro) lay the foundation for their new business venture. 7 p.m. on ABC The Goldbergs Lea Thompson (Switched at Birth) directed the new episode “Jackie Likes Star Trek,” the series’ 100th episode, in which Jackie (guest star Rowan Blanchard) ... well, take another look at that title. It causes problems between her and Adam (Sean Giambrone) on Halloween, as they can’t reach an accord on what they should wear. Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jeff Garlin, Hayley Orrantia, Troy Gentile and George Segal also star. 7 p.m. on CW Riverdale Archie (KJ Apa) is fed up with the lack of progress in finding and apprehending his father’s shooter, so he takes matters into his own hands to deliver a clear message to the gunman in the new episode “Chapter Sixteen: The Watcher in the Woods.” Meanwhile, Veronica (Carmila Mendes) is happy to introduce Hiram (Mark Consuelos) to her friends when he indicates he wants to make a fresh start with her.
