8 p.m. on SUND The A Word This British drama about two interrelat­ed families adjusting to the autism diagnosis of a young member picks up the action for Season 2 two years after Season 1, as young Joe (Max Vento), now 7, is becoming aware that he doesn’t fit in with many of his friends. That awareness forces parents Paul and Alison (Lee Ingleby, Morven Christie) to have a forthright talk with Joe in the season premiere, “Naming Day.” Christophe­r Eccleston and Pooky Quesnel also star.

8:01 p.m. on A&E Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour For the Season 2 premiere, “Like Father, Like Sun,” Ozzy and Jack Osbourne embark on a new road trip, this time in a vintage 1973 GMC camper, the same RV in which Ozzy toured with Black Sabbath as he was just starting his career in America. At their starting point in Key West, Fla., father and son get in a spot of deep-sea fishing and pick up a creepy souvenir from Robert the Haunted Doll to ride up front with them.
