CMA Country Christmas One element that clearly is new for the eighth annual edition of the Country Music Association’s holiday special is its host: Reba McEntire, pictured, succeeding Jennifer Nettles, who had that role for the show’s first seven years. Taped at Nashville’s legendary Grand Ole Opry House, the two-hour program also features seasonal selections by Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Kelsea Ballerini, Brett Eldredge, Alan Jackson and gospel great CeCe Winans, among others. Street Outlaws As this hit unscripted series opens Season 10, the Oklahoma City guys fight tooth and nail to earn a spot on “The List,” a tally of the 10 best street racers in their city. To do that, though, they’ll have to outrace determined rivals from across the country, Texas to Kansas City to California, all of whom really, really want the big money and bragging rights for themselves. Movie: Angry Angel Allison Pyke (Brenda Song), a young New Yorker turned angel, is eager to begin her celestial life, but she can’t seem to manage the process that will allow her to pass through the Pearly Gates. Further complications ensue when Patrick (Ricky Mabe), the love of Allison’s life, shows up in New York, a development that annoys her heavenly mentor (Jason Biggs) no end. Andrew Bachelor and Andy Favreau also star in Will Gluck’s new 2017 Christmas fantasy. A Very Pentatonix Christmas About to embark on a seasonally themed concert tour, the a cappella vocal group offers a new holiday special featuring fellow Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson and Jay Leno as guests. The Pentatonix members know something about winning contests, since they emerged triumphant from the third season of The Sing-Off. Floribama Shore MTV rekindles its international Shore TV series franchise in this new eightepisode entry, set in the Florida panhandle near the Sunshine State’s border with Alabama. Eight young adults gather in the red-hot beach destination of Panama City, Fla., for some intense partying before joining the “real world” with all its pressures and responsibilities. It adds up to a communal coming-of-age story.
