A two-hour composite of two recent episodes starts with “Catch of the Day,” a title that suggests the main ingredient of the first challenge the contestants face. Let’s just point out that Michael Cimarusti, a chef who specializes in fish dishes, is the guest judge. Then, two charities are beneficiaries of the dinner service in “It’s All Gravy,” with the remaining cooks prepping a five-course meal. Before they get to that point, though, they meet a camel ... seriously. Gordon Ramsay is the host. For as many other jobs as he has in television, as both personality and producer, it’s clear that music always will stay important to Ryan Seacrest. He’s back as host of the concluding half of this special from Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena. Lorde, Miley Cyrus, pictured, Big Sean and DJ Khaled are among the artists on tap as the parade of performers keeps on coming. Dianna drops a bombshell in the new episode “Secrets, Lies, and Slumber Parties”: She will be taking only five Dancing Dolls at the end of the season to a National Competition.” Rittany hatches a devious scheme with Dana to throw a slumber party that doubles as a covert dance workshop, and not everyone is on their guest list. When that confidential invitation list is discovered, tempers explode. In the new episode “4 Lit for Life,” JD gives the young artists a lesson on teamwork and throws them into the deep end of the pool — or, more precisely, the center of the ring at Universoul Circus. Lil Bri instinctively steps into the role of leader, but Jordan’s ongoing struggle with memorizing things proves a major liability to the group. After an extensive search, Blake McGill — who was given up for adoption as a baby — finally finds her birth mother and discovers the woman has a picture-perfect life, complete with a loving husband and infant twins. Blake insinuates herself into the household as the family’s new nanny, but inwardly she is obsessed with capturing the love of the woman whom she feels abandoned her long ago. Lindsay Hartley, Freya Tingley and Brody Hutzler star in this 2017 thriller.
