SOFIO OCTAVIO GONZALES AUGUST 24, 1930 - DECEMBER 19, 2017

Our loving husband, father, grandfathe­r; Sofio Gonzales passed away peacefully on December 19, 2017 after a long illness. He is preceded in death by his first wife; Maida, parents; Jose and Anita Gonzales, 3 sisters and 6 brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife Christina, Brother; Gustavo, Daughters; Rose and Husband Ed, Linda and Husband Mark, Marsha and husband Moses, Fran and Jeanette. Sons; Carlos and wife Jennifer, Dan and Robert. Ten grandchild­ren, and twelve great-grandchild­ren and many special nieces and Nephews and cousins. He was a Veteran who served as a Sergeant in the Korean War. We will miss his wonderful smile and his great sense of humor; he will be truly missed by all who loved and knew him. Love you always.

Serving as pallbearer­s will be all his Grandsons; Eddie, Matt, Alex, Brandon, Esaias, and Nick. Honorary; Adan, Cooper and Logan

A Rosary will be held on Monday, January 1, 2018 at 5:30 pm at San Isidro Catholic Church, Tesuque, NM. Mass will be held on Tuesday, January, 2, 2018 at 9:30 am at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Santa Fe, NM with interment to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:00 am.

SGT. HENRY WISEN

Sgt. Henry Wisen / Antonio Lopez. Born March 1, 1996 passed away December 21, 2017. Henry was a kind, happy loving son, caring, had a big heart. He was a wonderful brother and a friend to all who were blessed to know him. A proud soldier, Henry had just finished his 4 year tour of duty as a distinguis­hed member of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. He was working on pursuing his goals of becoming an Infantry Officer and Army Ranger. Henry is survived by his mother, Dina Salazar Howden and husband Steve; father Allen Lopez Sr., brothers Allen Stone, Andres Lopez, and Aaron Lopez (Best Friend), stepbrothe­r Brandon Howden, grandmothe­r Patricia Lopez, and many family and friends who love him dearly. FRANCES MONTOYA ROMERO

Frances Montoya Romero, a resident of Sombrillo and Santa Fe passed away peacefully on December 20, 2017. Frances was born on July 13, 1927 in Sombrillo, New Mexico. After marrying Jose Erminio Romero they moved to Santa Fe where they raised their five children.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Eutemio and Josefina Montoya, brother Joe Montoya and sisters Marie Garcia and Ruby Cantrell Ulibarri, her husband and life partner Jose Erminio Romero, son Leonard Romero and granddaugh­ter Anita Morris.

She is survived by daughters, Rosemary Romero (Rob), Betty Jean Elliott (Steve), Harold Romero and Joseph Leroy Romero, grandchild­ren, Joseph Romero, Dina Orozco, Daniel Romero, Kevin Romero, Stacy Common, Leonard Romero, Linnea Moreno, and Dakota Elliott, eight great-grandchild­ren and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held for Frances and her ashes buried with Jose Erminio Romero at the National Cemetery. The Family wishes to thank Leonor Granados for her extraordin­ary love and care for Frances for the last two years. EDWARD ORTEGA LANDEROS

Edward Ortega Landeros was born on January 7th 1993 to Lalo and Desiree Landeros. He was a loving son, father, husband, grandson, nephew and friend. He was a great father with a big heart who was always ready to help his family and friends. He had big plans for his family’s future when his life was taken. There are no words that can express how much he is loved and missed.

Edward is survived by his son Edward, his wife Estefania, his parents Lalo and Desiree, his grandparen­ts Charlotte, Lee and Betty, uncle’s Daniel, Michael, Alex and Gabriel, his aunt’s Adriana, Iris and Charlene. As well as many other aunt’s, uncles, cousins and friends.

There will be a rosary Tuesday January 2nd at 6:00pm at St. Anne’s Church and Mass on Wednesday January 3rd at 11:00am at St. Anne’s Church.
