Man fatally shot in apparent robbery
New Mexico State Police are searching for a suspect in the shooting death of a gas station employee Sunday in Edgewood.
Police say a male suspect, age 25 to 30, wearing a bandana to conceal his face and armed with a semi-automatic handgun, robbed a Smith’s Fuel Center around 4 p.m. Sunday. Police say the suspect shot the male attendant, who later died at a hospital.
