Cheryl Baca, Feb. 27 Elizabeth Ann Massey, Feb. 28

Cheryl Baca passed away on Tuesday, February 27th after a long illness. Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, David Baca and daughter, Destiny Rose Baca. She is survived by her parents, Alexis and Steve Scott and Roy and Robin Beacham; sons Angelo Baca (Alexandra Odell), Michael Padilla (April Abeyta), Nikolas Baca, and David Baca,Jr. (Shannon); sisters Anne Marie Stanton (Robbie), Michelle Beacham (Kai Hawkins), brother Joe Parrish (Tootie Colle); partner Cecil Chavez; beloved grandsons Devon, Dylan, Talin; granddaughter Malia (the light of her life); and many cherished friends and relatives. Cheryl attended NMHU and NMSU and had a long career as a Human Resources Specialist, working at The Bishop’s Lodge, Los Alamos National Bank, Beazer Homes (Tempe, AZ), and most recently at Santa Fe Public Schools. Cheryl’s sharp wit and fun-loving spirit touched all who knew her. She loved travel, playing softball, concerts, cooking, decorating, and the Arizona Cardinals. There will be a visitation on Monday, March 5th, from 6-8 pm at Rivera Family. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, March 6th, at 1 pm at the Kiva Chapel of Light, with burial and reception to follow. Pallbearers are Lawrence Casados, Tom Cisneros, Hope Hawkins, Janette Fonseca, Debbie Anaya, and Bill Beacham.
