SATURDAY
4 p.m. TCM ‘Movie: A Fistful of Dollars’
A fistful of dollars might not get you much these days, but while he was playing a television cowboy on “Rawhide,” Clint Eastwood used a hiatus to go overseas and earn more money with director Sergio Leone on this 1964 “spaghetti Western.” It’s a remake of the Japanese classic “Yojimbo” that changed the course of Eastwood’s career by making him a superstar as the silent and deadly Man With No Name, who positions his poncho between two warring families.
6 p.m. LIFE ‘Movie: Stalked by a Reality Star’
Kendra is just a teenager, so she lies about her age to get into a Hollywood party, where she meets Brad, a handsome reality TV star. She soon discovers that Brad isn’t quite as charming as he first appears, so she tries to reject him. Unfortunately, Brad’s not big on rejection, and his obsession with Kendra drives him to try anything — including dating her widowed mother — to stay close to her. Cynthia Preston, Scott William Wilson and Emily Bader star in this thriller.
6 p.m. STARZ ‘Movie: Churchill’
The role of Winston Churchill is catnip for great actors, and not without reason: John Lithgow won an Emmy playing the British prime minister in “The Crown,” and Gary Oldman is a current Oscar front runner as best actor for his performance as Churchill in “Darkest Hour.” This 2017 World War II drama from Jonathan Teplitzky finds Brian Cox undertaking the role, with Miranda Richardson, John Slattery, Julian Wadham And Danny Webb in the capable supporting cast.
